Hansika's to take on Kollywood

The pretty little girl, who started her acting career with a television show, has now transformed into a gorgeously hot woman.

Hansika Motwani worked in a few Hindi films as a child artist and later bagged a lead role in Puri Jagganadh's Telugu film, Desamuduru. There has been no looking back for the actress since then. She is already a hit in Tollywood and has also worked in Bollywood flicks.

Just recently, she set her eyes on Tamil cinema and the young girl is already on her way to make a mark in the competitive industry. Hansika's first Tamil film Mappillai released recently and has Kollywood in awe of her already. Talking to the media recently, the actress said, "I am glad that Tamil audience liked my performance in Mappillai. I am now looking forward for my second Tamil release Engeyum Kadhal. I am cast opposite Jayam Ravi in this one."

The actress recently visited the Tirupati shrine along with her parents. Without a doubt Hansika has a lot to thank Lord Balaji for. She has bagged four more Tamil offers apart from two Telugu films.

Sreesanth romance with Riya

 

The Bollywood- cricket connection goes back a long way, studded with myriad romances between the glam stars and cricketers.

The south hasn’t lagged too far behind. Even south stars like Lakshmi Rai and Sona had their share of ‘close’ ties with cricketers like Dhoni and Ghoni respectively.

The latest maiden from tinsel town who is said to have bowled over a bowler is none other than Bollywood babe Riya Sen.

For the past couple of weeks it seems the hot girl has been seeing Indian cricket team fast bowler Sreesanth. The chemistry clicked when they met while modeling for a jewellery ad.

Riya rubbished the rumors on her twitter page, saying that Sreesanth is just a good friend.

But her behavior indicates otherwise. Riya, who’s from the famous ‘Sen’ family of Kolkatta, hasn’t been supporting the Kolkata Knight Riders, instead she has been spotted cheering Kochi Tuskers at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, on April 13 as well as at the Nehru Stadium in Kochi on 18.

It was said that the ‘Sreesanth factor’ had drawn her to root for the Tuskers, to the extent that Riya seems to have become the unofficial ambassador for Kochi Tuskers, Kerala.

Sporting the KTK’s jersey, the actress was seen jumping at every KTK batsman’s shot. Even the biggies of Kerala’s film world like Mohan Lal, Priyadarshan and our own Kollywood’s Lakshmi Rai were seen enjoying the match from the pavilion. while Riya Sen was seated in the Team Kochi dugout with the players!

When the Style star was asked about her favorite cricketer, to everyone’s disappointment she replied, “Though all the boys are playing well, it is the team captain Mahela Jayawardene who is my all-time favourite”.

It is to be recalled that Riya Sen made a sensational entry in Kollywood in none other than ace filmmaker Bharathi Raja’s film Taj Mahal which was notable for its chart-busting songs by A.R. Rahman.

She’s also acted in a few Malayalam films, including Santhosh Sivan’s Anandhabadram.

So, would it be wedding bells soon or just another romance that fizzled out ? Only time will tell. Till then, hope she enjoys the game.

Hansika Motwani, who made her film debut with the Telugu film ‘Desamuduru’ opposite Allu Arjun is now a busy bee in Tamil Cinema. Her first Tamil film ‘Mappillai’ starring Dhanush in the lead role is yet to release (scheduled on 8th of April). Even before the film release, she is already part of three more big films – ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ opposite Jayam Ravi, ‘Velayudham’ opposite Joseph Vijay and ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin.
She has now become the most happening actress in Kollywood and all those who had glimpse of her are opining that she could reach the top slot in a short period.
She has become one of the most searched topics in Google trends, India and many Tamil movie lovers are searching about this actress to see her photos.
